Detailed Itinerary
Day 1
Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive south to Amboseli National Park. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge, followed by an afternoon game drive across the open plains. Look out for large elephant herds, lions, cheetahs, giraffes and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 2
Full Day Amboseli National Park
Spend the full day exploring Amboseli with morning and afternoon game drives. Visit the marsh areas where elephants, buffaloes and many bird species gather, and search for predators such as lions and cheetahs. When the weather is clear, enjoy outstanding views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 3
Amboseli to Ziwani Sanctuary
After breakfast, depart Amboseli and drive toward Ziwani Sanctuary near the Tsavo ecosystem. Arrive for lunch and relax at your camp overlooking a natural water source. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided nature walk or game drive. After dinner, experience an optional night game drive in search of nocturnal wildlife such as genets, civets, bush babies and predators.
Day 4
Ziwani to Tsavo West National Park
Enjoy breakfast and a final wildlife activity at Ziwani before departing for Tsavo West National Park. Explore the park’s rugged volcanic scenery and visit Mzima Springs, where crystal-clear water supports hippos, crocodiles, fish and birdlife. Depending on time, visit the Shetani Lava Flow and Rhino Sanctuary. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 5
Tsavo West to Tsavo East National Park
After breakfast, enjoy a final game drive in Tsavo West before driving to Tsavo East National Park. Enter the park for a game drive en route to your lodge, searching for red elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes and other wildlife around the open plains and Aruba Dam. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 6
Tsavo East to Nairobi
Enjoy an early morning game drive in Tsavo East followed by breakfast at the lodge. Depart for Nairobi with a final opportunity to view wildlife along the way. Arrive in the afternoon, marking the end of your six-day Amboseli, Ziwani, Tsavo West and Tsavo East safari.
