Day 1
Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve
Depart Nairobi in the morning in a private 4×4 safari vehicle and travel north through the central highlands toward Samburu National Reserve. Arrive at your luxury lodge or tented camp in time for lunch. After a short rest, enjoy an afternoon game drive along the Ewaso Nyiro River in search of elephants, lions, leopards and the Samburu Special Five. Return for dinner and overnight.
Day 2
Full Day Samburu National Reserve
Spend the full day exploring Samburu with private morning and afternoon game drives. Search for Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx, Somali ostrich and gerenuk, together with elephants and predators. Enjoy time beside the Ewaso Nyiro River, where wildlife gathers during the day. Dinner and overnight at your luxury lodge or camp.
Day 3
Private Samburu Wildlife Experience
Enjoy another full day in Samburu with a flexible private safari schedule. Spend more time photographing rare northern species, elephants and big cats, or explore quieter areas of the reserve. Optional experiences may include a guided cultural visit, bush breakfast or sundowner drinks, subject to availability. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 4
Samburu to Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, depart Samburu and travel south through Kenya’s scenic highlands toward Lake Naivasha in the Great Rift Valley. Arrive at your luxury lakeside lodge in the afternoon. After check-in, relax by the lake or enjoy an optional private boat ride to see hippos and birdlife. Dinner and overnight beside the lake.
Day 5
Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara
Enjoy breakfast overlooking Lake Naivasha before departing for the Masai Mara. Travel through the scenic Rift Valley and arrive at your luxury tented camp in time for lunch. After a short rest, enjoy an afternoon private game drive in search of lions, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, buffaloes and plains game.
Day 6
Full Day Masai Mara Game Viewing
Spend the day exploring the Masai Mara with flexible private game drives. Follow resident wildlife across the open plains and search for lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants and large herds of plains game. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the reserve or return to camp for a relaxed meal, depending on the day’s wildlife movements.

Private Masai Mara Wildlife Experience
Enjoy another full day of private game viewing tailored to your interests. Spend extra time photographing big cats, visiting river areas and observing wildlife behaviour. Optional experiences may include a hot-air balloon safari, bush breakfast, Maasai cultural visit or sundowner drinks, subject to availability and additional cost.
Day 8
Masai Mara to Nairobi
Begin the day with an early morning game drive followed by breakfast at camp. Check out and enjoy a final game drive before departing for Nairobi by road. Arrive in the late afternoon for drop-off at your hotel, residence or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, marking the end of your eight-day luxury Kenya safari.
